Although I have been known to flirt with colours like blue, green, petrol and of course black, it took me some time to admit that burgundy red was the one for me.

Nevertheless, a few months ago, I realized that something must be wrong when I started noticing all things orangy around me. Today I know I’ll always cherish the beautiful times red and I had together but I think that orange is here to stay.

For now…

Have a nice weekend everybody.

Your grandmother’s fine china set might look impressive and elegant (and totally out of fashion…) when whole, but don’t  you get the urge to accidentaly break it so that you can create something new and maybe more interesting? No? Is it just me?

Motivated by a friendly donation of a broken porcelain plate last weekend (and although I was in the vicinity when the plate broke, I assure you that I had absolutely nothing to do with its demise), I’m now on a research spree for jewellery objects that have components or are made of porcelain.
